OUR HISTORY

THE STEFANI FAMILY

1920

1920

The history of the Stefani family begins in the early twentieth century when grandfather Stefani Giovanni produced various types of tools for lumberjacks in the Aplis workshop in the Municipality of Ovaro. Several workers collaborated in the production, at the time the equipment was rudimentary: water hammer, hammers of various kinds, pincers and some molds. The products always of high quality, were finished with care, the axes were very sharp as required by the demanding woodcutters

of those times.

1946

Difficult times after the war, it was necessary to start again with many sacrifices and few resources. The new workshop is built in Muina di Ovaro and production

continues with Stefani Annibale and his brother Domenico. 1980

The STEFANI company acquires new skills and specializes in precision mechanics. The fleet expands with new equipment to NC for mass production Times have changed, Stefani Leandro develops her own company with new projects, requests increase and new horizons open up.

1988

The first butyl machine model K250 is designed and built for 2.5 kg butyl blocks. The requests are not long in coming. Construction simplicity and reliability are our workhorse and the 22 machines sold in the first year are the confirmation.

1995

Development margins are substantial. Designing with new software allows us to optimize and considerably improve production. Market demands are directed towards larger machines, so we build the first K700 Top intended for large productions. The electromechanical components and controls allow us limited functions but sufficient to carry out a professional job.

2006

The new K700 Hi-Tech and K700 Synchro machines are equipped with PLC and Omron Touch-Screen terminal that allow us countless very useful functions to simplify their use. Our machines now possess the functional requirements for the certification of insulating glass.

2010 The development in the market both nationally and internationally takes place thanks to the quality and reliability of our products, for innovative ideas and for the excellent quality ratio It ’s price.

Today as then, the primary goal is satisfying customer action, listening to their needs, always offering maximum collaboration. The constant commitment, the search for new solutions and applications, the use of advanced technologies, allow the STEFANI company to position itself with its machines in the high-end market of international competitiveness.

The K700 HI-TECH butyl machines are managed by a latest generation Omron PLC, which has the task of monitoring all the main functions of the machine. The proportional hydraulic valve with which it is equipped, allows to extrude with extreme precision. .

The K700 Synchro butyl machines is equipped with a modern 7 ' Omron tactile

display. All the adjustments are set and shown on the display eg: working speed, set temperature, extruders distance, enabling of the ram presses, any alarms, etc. .

The filling operation takes place by inserting the Argon gas at the base of the insulating glass, using the delivery probe, while the probe inserted in the upper part sucks the air present. The sensor inside the machine analyzes the percentage of gas present. .
